Rehearsal for Friday, April 24th CANCELED

Hello Christian Community Choir,

I regret to inform you that we have to cancel choir rehearsal for tomorrow night because Tom's brother has passed away.  More details will follow at a later time, but in the meantime...please keep Tom and his family in prayer.

Please, if you know that someone on the choir does not have internet access and will not receive this message, pass this information along to them as we want to save them a trip to Roseanne's house.

Tom, our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family in this very difficult time.

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to our blog site.  This is going to be the place where we update you on when/where rehearsals and performances are, song lists, announcements, prayer requests and any other important information as well. 

Now that you have made it to the blog site, take a moment to click on the "Alerts" link on the upper right side of this page to sign up for instant email alerts when an update has been made.   Also, once you have finished reading this entry, you can leave a comment and let us know what you think.  Just click on the "Add Your Own" comment link at the end of this entry.  Remember not to leave personal information such as full last names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.  We want to do our absolute best to protect everyone's information.

Now, with all of the "housekeeping" out of the way...our next rehearsal will be April 11th at Roseanne's house at 7:00 PM.  If you need the address and/or directions, please call the contact number listed in the "About Me" section of this page. 

Snack responsibilities are with Cecilia and Barbara since the last rehearsal was canceled.  If you cannot bring a snack, please call the contact number. 

Christian Community Choir has been confirmed to perform at Calvary Chapel East Hills on Sunday, June 1st.  More information to follow.

Prayer request:

Jamie and Jay - Jay has an appointment with City of Hope this week.  We are doing our pre-op testing and there is a possibility of his surgery date being moved up from April 23rd.  Please pray that the Lord's hand would be upon us as well as the doctors.  Thank you for your prayers.

Finally...A Way To Communicate With Everyone

Hi Tom!

See?  This is a great way to post pictures from performances and communicate with all choir members without having to worry about losing their email address.  People can come to this website and click on the "Alerts" button and sign themselves up to receive information every time we update the blog.  The way it will work is when you make an entry (or me...whatever) an alert will go to each person's email account letting them know that there is a new entry from you.  Also, below each entry, there is an option for people to leave comments regarding your entry or whatever they want to leave a comment about...and then that comment will come to you and me as an alert so we know that there is a comment for us to read.  Pretty cool, huh?

Anyway, this journal can be deleted if you're not digging it.  Just let me know what you think.
